Moto Z2 Force Edition is a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, with a general score of 77.4 against 77.2. The Moto Z2 Force Edition construction is lighter and much thinner than Motorola Edge 40, despite of the fact that it was released 6 years before. The Motorola Edge 40 features a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because although it has a bit lower pixel density and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a larger screen.
The Moto Z2 Force Edition has an extremely better CPU than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Motorola Edge 40 captures much better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a way larger aperture to capture better captures and video in poorly lited situations, a lot bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with a way higher 50 megapixels resolution.
Moto Z2 Force Edition has a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Motorola Edge 40 has a very superior battery lifetime than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 4400mAh battery size.
