Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is slightly better than the Moto Z2 Force Edition, getting a general score of 79.2 against 77.4. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) body is somewhat heavier and incredibly thicker than Moto Z2 Force Edition. The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition features a little faster CPU than Galaxy A8 (2018). Both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.

The Moto Z2 Force Edition has just a bit better display than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a little greater pixels density. Moto Z2 Force Edition has a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Moto Z2 Force Edition also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.

The Moto Z2 Force Edition shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a camera with a much worse 12 megapixels resolution and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has a bit superior battery life than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 10% greater battery capacity.
