Comparison review

Moto Z2 Force Edition is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZs, getting a global score of 77.4 against 77.2. Even when Moto Z2 Force Edition and the Sony Xperia XZs were released only 4 months apart, Moto Z2 Force Edition is incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter. The Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with a bit better display than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a better 1440 x 2560 resolution, a greater pixels density and a little bigger display.

Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with a very superior storage for applications and games than Xperia XZs, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Moto Z2 Force Edition features a little faster processing unit than Sony Xperia XZs, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Moto Z2 Force Edition also has more CPU cores.

Xperia XZs shoots way better videos and photos than Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have a F2 camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XZs also has a way bigger sensor capturing much better quality videos and pictures, faster 960 fps video frame rate and a back camera with way more mega-pixels.

The Xperia XZs has a little better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has 2900mAh of battery capacity.

Although Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition is a better device, it costs a bit more than Xperia XZs, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia XZs. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Xperia XZs, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
