Asus ROG Phone 8 is slightly better than the Moto Z2 Play, getting a 79.5 score against 77.4. Asus ROG Phone 8's design is way newer, but noticeably thicker and way heavier than the Moto Z2 Play. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a quite lower display density, it also counts with a larger display and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a much better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
