Comparison review
Google Nexus 6 is slightly better than the Moto Z2 Play, having a general score of 81.1 against 77.4. Despite being the best cellphone we are comparing here, we must note that it is also a noticeably older, noticeably thicker and way heavier cellphone. Google Nexus 6 has a more vivid display than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a little bit higher count of pixels per display inch, a bit bigger display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. Google Nexus 6 has just a little better hardware performance than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with an additional GPU.
Google Nexus 6 and Moto Z2 Play have similar cameras, because although the Google Nexus 6 has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video definition, it also counts with a higher resolution camera in the back. Google Nexus 6 features a bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z2 Play. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Google Nexus 6, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Moto Z2 Play, giving up a couple features and specs.
