Comparison review
The Moto Z2 Play is a little bit better than the Huawei nova 3, getting a 77.4 score against 76.3. Even though the Moto Z2 Play is older than Huawei nova 3, it's construction is thinner and somewhat lighter. Huawei nova 3 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a little bit larger display, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little greater screen density.
Huawei nova 3 counts with just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei nova 3 also has 2 GB more RAM.
