The Huawei nova 5T is slightly better than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, getting a score of 80.8 against 77.4. Although Huawei nova 5T is a lot newer than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, it is heavier and thicker. The Huawei nova 5T counts with a bit superior processor than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei nova 5T also has more RAM memory.
The Huawei nova 5T has a little sharper display than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, a bit larger screen and a bit higher number of pixels in each display inch. Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a superior memory for applications and games than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Huawei nova 5T counts with a lot better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for shooting photos and video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei nova 5T also counts with a lot better resolution back-facing camera.
Huawei nova 5T has greater battery performance than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 25% greater battery size.
Although Huawei nova 5T is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto Z2 Play. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei nova 5T, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Moto Z2 Play, letting go some features and specs.
