Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is much better than Motorola Moto Z2 Play's global score of 77.4. Huawei P40's construction is incredibly newer than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play's, although it's somewhat heavier and notably thicker. Huawei P40 has a bit better performance than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei P40 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei P40 has a bit better display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch in the display, a quite bigger display and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340px resolution. Moto Z2 Play has much more storage for games and applications than Huawei P40, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The Huawei P40 has better battery performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3800mAh battery size. Huawei P40 counts with a way better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photographs and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a camera in the back with a much higher resolution and faster video frame rates.
The Huawei P40 costs more money than Moto Z2 Play, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
