Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite has a score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than Motorola Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 general score. Huawei P40 Lite's body is newer, but extremely heavier and thicker than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play. Huawei P40 Lite features a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei P40 Lite has a bit more vivid display than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a bit inferior pixels quantity in each screen inch, it also counts with a larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2310. Moto Z2 Play counts with a superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
Huawei P40 Lite takes much clearer videos and photos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a camera in the back with a way better resolution.
The Huawei P40 Lite has a way better battery lifetime than Moto Z2 Play, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei P40 Lite is a better device, it costs more than Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto Z2 Play. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei P40 Lite, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto Z2 Play, resigning a couple features and specifications.
