LG Q70 has a global score of 77.9, which is slightly better than the Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 score. Even though LG Q70 is noticeably newer than the Moto Z2 Play, it's a lot thicker and incredibly heavier. LG Q70 has a display that's just as good as the Moto Z2 Play one, because although the LG Q70 has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2310px.
Motorola Moto Z2 Play features just a bit better hardware performance than LG Q70. They have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM. LG Q70's storage for games and applications is just as good as the Moto Z2 Play one, both of them have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The LG Q70 captures much better photos and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the LG Q70 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels. The LG Q70 counts with longer battery performance than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 33 percent more battery size.
Although LG Q70 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto Z2 Play. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the LG Q70, else you can save some dollars and buy the Moto Z2 Play, letting go some features and specifications.
