The Moto Z2 Play has a score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than LG Q8's 77.2 general score. Even though the Moto Z2 Play and LG Q8 were only released with a couple months difference, the Moto Z2 Play is extremely thinner and just a bit lighter. LG Q8 features a brighter display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels count per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.
The Moto Z2 Play counts with just a bit better performance than LG Q8, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Moto Z2 Play also has a larger number of cores. The LG Q8 has a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the LG Q8 also counts with a back-facing camera with much more MP.
Moto Z2 Play has a quite bigger memory to install applications and games than LG Q8, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB, the Moto Z2 Play also has 64 GB internal storage capacity. LG Q8's battery life is just as good as Motorola Moto Z2 Play's battery life.
