Motorola Moto Z2 Play is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, with a 77.4 score against 77.2. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play is an a lot older phone than the Motorola Edge 40, but Motorola was able to make it somewhat lighter and extremely thinner anyway. Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a much more powerful processor than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Motorola Edge 40 features a sharper display than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a just a little higher pixel amount per inch of screen, a larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px. Motorola Edge 40 has a greater camera than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a bigger aperture and a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels.
The Moto Z2 Play features a very superior memory for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a much longer battery duration than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 4400mAh battery size.
