The Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a global score of 77.4, which is slightly better than Moto G Power's score of 76.1. Motorola Moto Z2 Play is an notably older device than the Moto G Power, but it's extremely thinner and notably lighter anyway. Moto G Power counts with a display that is just as good as Moto Z2 Play's display, because although the Moto G Power has a bit lower pixels quantity per screen inch, it also counts with a little bit higher 1080 x 2300 resolution and a bigger display.

Moto Z2 Play features a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G Power. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Motorola Moto G Power features a bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Moto G Power also has a way more mega pixels back-facing camera.

The Moto Z2 Play has a superior storage for games and applications than Moto G Power, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Moto Z2 Play also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Motorola Moto G Power counts with a much longer battery duration than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.

Although Moto Z2 Play is a better device, it costs more than the Motorola Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto G Power. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Motorola Moto G Power, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
