Moto Z2 Play has an overall score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than Moto G31's overall score of 77. Moto Z2 Play is an older cellphone than the Moto G31, but Motorola could make it somewhat lighter and a lot thinner. Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a bit better processing unit than Moto G31. They have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Motorola Moto G31 features a bit more vivid display than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a larger screen, a little greater pixels number in each inch in the screen and a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Moto Z2 Play counts with a bigger memory to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto G31, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Moto Z2 Play also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Moto G31 counts with a much longer battery performance than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh. The Motorola Moto G31 features a much better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Moto G31 also counts with a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
