Moto Z2 Play is slightly better than Moto Z2 Force Edition, with a 77.4 score against 77.4. The Moto Z2 Play design has the same thickness than the Moto Z2 Force Edition, but it is a bit heavier. Moto Z2 Force Edition has a bit better processing power than Moto Z2 Play. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Moto Z2 Force Edition has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Moto Z2 Force Edition also has a higher pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Moto Z2 Force Edition's memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Motorola Moto Z2 Play one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Moto Z2 Force Edition captures a bit better pictures and videos than Moto Z2 Play, although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and video in low-light situations, they both have the same video frame rates, a back facing camera with a 12 mega-pixels and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a bit superior battery performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2730mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play is also by far the cheapest one, making buying this phone an easy decision.
