The Motorola One Hyper has a global score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 score. Motorola One Hyper's design is much newer, but notably thicker and a lot heavier than Moto Z2 Play. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with just a little better processing power than Motorola One Hyper. They have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.

Motorola Moto Z2 Play and Motorola One Hyper feature similar displays, because although the Motorola One Hyper has a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bigger display and a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. Motorola One Hyper captures much clearer pictures and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Motorola One Hyper also counts with a back camera with lot more megapixels.

The Motorola One Hyper has a bit bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Motorola One Hyper features longer battery life than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

Although Motorola One Hyper is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Moto Z2 Play. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Moto Z2 Play, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
