The Motorola One Zoom is just a bit better than the Moto Z2 Play, having an 80 score against 77.4. Even though the Motorola One Zoom is incredibly newer than Moto Z2 Play, it is thicker and much heavier. Motorola One Zoom features a screen that's very similar to the screen in Moto Z2 Play, although the Motorola One Zoom also has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340, a larger display and a just a bit more pixels per screen inch.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a bit better processor than Motorola One Zoom. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Moto Z2 Play features a bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola One Zoom, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
Motorola One Zoom features better battery lifetime than Moto Z2 Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Motorola One Zoom shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Motorola One Zoom also has a way more megapixels camera in the back.
Although Motorola One Zoom is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z2 Play. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Moto Z2 Play, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
