Motorola razr (2020) is much better than Moto Z2 Play, getting an 87 score against 77.4. Even though Motorola razr (2020) is much newer than the Moto Z2 Play, it is way heavier and notably thicker. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a bit more vivid screen than Motorola razr (2020), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little better pixel density.
Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a bigger storage to store more apps and games than Motorola razr (2020), because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Motorola razr (2020) counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Motorola razr (2020) also has more RAM.
The Motorola razr (2020) captures way better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola razr (2020) also has a much better resolution back camera. Moto Z2 Play counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Motorola razr (2020), because it has a 7% bigger battery capacity.
Although Motorola razr (2020) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto Z2 Play. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Motorola razr (2020), but if you don't you can save some money and get the Moto Z2 Play, letting go some specifications.
