The Moto Z2 Play has a general score of 77.4, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A6's global score of 75.8. Moto Z2 Play's design is somewhat lighter and incredibly thinner than the Galaxy A6, even though it was released only 11 months before. The Moto Z2 Play has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy A6, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels number per screen inch and a better resolution of 1080 x 1920.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with much more memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A6, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Moto Z2 Play counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A6, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Moto Z2 Play also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Moto Z2 Play and Samsung Galaxy A6 feature extremely similar batteries duration. Galaxy A6 and Moto Z2 Play count with very similar cameras, and although the Galaxy A6 has a much more mega-pixels back camera, they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, a same size aperture and the same video frame rates.
Although Moto Z2 Play is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy A6. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Moto Z2 Play, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A6, letting go some specifications.
