Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than the Moto Z2 Play, with an 85 score against 77.4. The Samsung Galaxy M40 is a newer device than Moto Z2 Play, but it's heavier and way thicker. The Samsung Galaxy M40's CPU is very similar to the processor in Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although the Samsung Galaxy M40 has more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Galaxy M40 has a little more vivid display than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a just a little more pixels per screen inch, a bit bigger display and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution. Galaxy M40 shoots much better pictures and videos than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same aperture and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Galaxy M40 also has a much better 32 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
Moto Z2 Play features a slightly bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy M40 has just a little bit longer battery life than Moto Z2 Play, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
