Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 3 has a score of 81.2, which is a bit better than Moto Z2 Play's general score of 77.4. Even though the Galaxy Note 3 is a better device than Moto Z2 Play, we must tell that it's also older, a lot thicker and heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a bit lower pixels density, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a bit larger display.

Moto Z2 Play counts with a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Moto Z2 Play also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a little faster CPU than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has lesser RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.

Galaxy Note 3 features a slightly better camera than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a way smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low-light images, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a more MP back-facing camera.

The Galaxy Note 3 counts with a little better battery lifetime than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

The Galaxy Note 3 is more expensive than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
