The Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a general score of 80.2, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Note5 is better than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, it must be noted that it's also an older, extremely thicker and somewhat heavier phone. The Galaxy Note5's processing unit is just as good as the Motorola Moto Z2 Play one, both of them have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a little sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a bit bigger display, a higher pixels density and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution. The Galaxy Note5 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for taking photographs and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note5 also counts with a camera with lot more MP.
Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto Z2 Play also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy Note5's battery lifetime is very similar to the battery lifetime in Moto Z2 Play.
