Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a little bit better than Moto Z2 Play's score of 77.4. Despite being the best we are comparing here, it must be told that it's also a lot thicker and noticeably heavier. The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a little bigger display, a better screen density and a way better 1440 x 2960 resolution.

The Moto Z2 Play counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Moto Z2 Play also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a little bit better performance than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a little bit better camera than Moto Z2 Play. Both of them have the same aperture, the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same resolution back camera. The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit longer battery duration than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto Z2 Play. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Note8, else you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, resigning some features and specs.
