Comparison review

Galaxy S6 Edge has a global score of 85.7, which is much better than Moto Z2 Play's score of 77.4. The Galaxy S6 Edge design is just a little lighter than Moto Z2 Play, but it is somewhat thicker and was released 2 years before. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a way better screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels count per inch in the display and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.

Moto Z2 Play has a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with an additional graphics processor and a 64-bit processor.

The Moto Z2 Play captures much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lot worse resolution and a worse video resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture. The Motorola Moto Z2 Play has just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z2 Play. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy S6 Edge, else you can save some dollars and buy the Moto Z2 Play, giving up some features and specs.
