Despite being the best device in this comparison review, the Galaxy S8 is an extremely thicker and a bit heavier device than the Moto Z2 Play. Galaxy S8 has a brighter display than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a better display density, a bit bigger screen and a much better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
The Moto Z2 Play counts with much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Moto Z2 Play also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy S8 has just a bit better processing power than Moto Z2 Play. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Galaxy S8's battery lifetime is just as good as the Motorola Moto Z2 Play one. Galaxy S8 has a bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Play. They have a 12 megapixels camera, a F1.7 camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is not only the best devices in this comparison, but it's also cheap compared to the Moto Z2 Play, making it a very good choice.
