Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is a lot better than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, having a 93.3 score against 77.4. The Xperia 1 III is a notably newer cellphone than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play, but it's noticeably heavier and a lot thicker. Xperia 1 III features a sharper display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a way better 1644 x 3840 resolution, a bigger screen and a much greater pixel density.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that supports 976 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit more powerful processor than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia 1 III shoots better photos and videos than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a 12 mega pixels camera and a F1.7 diafragm aperture, the Xperia 1 III also has better 120 frames per second video frame rate. The Xperia 1 III counts with a much better battery lifetime than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto Z2 Play. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia 1 III, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Moto Z2 Play, letting go a couple features and specs.
