Xiaomi Black Shark has a score of 80.4, which is a little bit better than Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 overall score. Although the Xiaomi Black Shark is newer than Moto Z2 Play, it's much heavier and notably thicker. The Xiaomi Black Shark has just a bit better processing power than Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have 8 cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark also has more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a slightly better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has a bit higher 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, a little higher pixels amount in each inch in the screen and a little bigger screen. Motorola Moto Z2 Play counts with a much better memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a slightly better camera than Moto Z2 Play, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and video, they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a back facing camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution and the same video definition.
Xiaomi Black Shark features superior battery duration than Moto Z2 Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
