Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has an overall score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play's 77.4 score. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 design is much heavier and extremely thicker than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play. Moto Z2 Play has just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Moto Z2 Play also counts with a little greater screen density.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a greater memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Moto Z2 Play counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max 2. Both have 8 cpu cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a bit better camera than Moto Z2 Play, although it has a way tinier camera aperture which is not good for taking photos in poorly lited environments, they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a very superior battery life than Moto Z2 Play, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto Z2 Play. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Max 2, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Moto Z2 Play, resigning some features and specs.
