Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone has a global score of 77.1, which is slightly better than Moto Z3 Play's 76.3 score. Even being the best we are comparing here, we must note that it is also way heavier and much thicker. Asus ROG Phone counts with a little bit better looking screen than Moto Z3 Play. Both of them have the same pixel density, a display of the same size and exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2160.
The Asus ROG Phone has much more memory for applications and games than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. Asus ROG Phone has just a bit better hardware performance than Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Moto Z3 Play features a greater camera than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality and a 0.39 inches sensor, the Moto Z3 Play also counts with a larger aperture for better photos in low-light situations. Asus ROG Phone features better battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto Z3 Play. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Asus ROG Phone, else you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, letting go a couple specs and features.
