Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design is a little bit better than Moto Z3 Play, having an 82.7 score against 76.3. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, it must be told that it is also older, just a little bit thicker and a bit heavier. Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design has a bit faster CPU than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design also has more RAM.
The Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design features a slightly better looking screen than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater count of pixels per display inch. The Moto Z3 Play counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same video definition and the same resolution back facing camera, the Moto Z3 Play also has a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way bigger camera aperture to take better images and video in low light environments.
Moto Z3 Play has more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design features longer battery lifetime than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 33% larger battery capacity.
