The Motorola Edge 40 features a much better display than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a just a bit better display density, a little larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Motorola Edge 40 shoots greater photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a larger aperture for better low light captures and video, a camera in the back with a way higher resolution and a way bigger sensor taking much better quality videos and photos.
The Moto Z3 Play counts with a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Motorola Edge 40 has a much longer battery life than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 4400mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
