Moto Z3 Play has a general score of 76.3, which is slightly better than the Moto G7 Plus's global score of 76.1. Moto Z3 Play's body is somewhat thinner and lighter than the Moto G7 Plus, although both were only released 7 months apart. Motorola Moto Z3 Play and Moto G7 Plus have extremely similar screens, although the Moto G7 Plus also has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2270, a bit bigger display and a bit greater pixels amount in each inch of screen.
The Moto G7 Plus's processor is very similar to the Motorola Moto Z3 Play one, both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Moto Z3 Play features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Moto Z3 Play also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
Motorola Moto G7 Plus's battery duration is just as good as the Moto Z3 Play one. The Moto G7 Plus shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a tinier sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have the same aperture, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Moto G7 Plus also counts with a way higher 16 MP resolution back facing camera.
