Motorola Moto G8 Plus is a little bit better than the Moto Z3 Play, getting a general score of 77.6 against 76.3. Although Motorola Moto G8 Plus is newer than Moto Z3 Play, it's much thicker and somewhat heavier. Moto G8 Plus has just a little better processing power than Moto Z3 Play. They have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Motorola Moto G8 Plus counts with a screen that's very similar to the Moto Z3 Play one, because although the Motorola Moto G8 Plus has a quite lower screen pixels density, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2280px and a little larger display. Motorola Moto G8 Plus shoots better photos and videos than Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Moto G8 Plus also has a lot bigger camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and photos and a back facing camera with much more MP.
Moto Z3 Play has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Moto Z3 Play also has a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Moto G8 Plus counts with greater battery life than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 33% larger battery size.
