Comparison review

The Moto Z3 Play has a global score of 76.3, which is a bit better than Motorola Moto G8 Power's global score of 76. Moto Z3 Play's body is much thinner and much lighter than the Motorola Moto G8 Power, despite of the fact that it was released around 22 months before. Moto G8 Power features a display that's very similar to the screen in Moto Z3 Play, because although the Moto G8 Power has a quite inferior pixels quantity per screen inch, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2300 pixels and a quite larger display.

Moto G8 Power counts with a little better performance than Moto Z3 Play. Both have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Motorola Moto Z3 Play features much more storage to store more apps and games than Moto G8 Power, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB.

The Motorola Moto G8 Power features a much longer battery duration than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. The Moto G8 Power takes a bit better videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller sensor which provides a worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a F1.7 aperture, the Moto G8 Power also counts with a much higher resolution back camera.

Although Motorola Moto Z3 Play is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G8 Power, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Moto G8 Power. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Motorola Moto Z3 Play, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto G8 Power, giving up some features and specifications.
