Comparison review

Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition is slightly better than the Moto Z3 Play, getting a general score of 77.4 against 76.3. The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition body is somewhat thinner and a bit lighter than Moto Z3 Play, although it was released only 11 months before. The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition features a little faster CPU than Moto Z3 Play. Both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core CPU.

The Moto Z2 Force Edition has just a bit better display than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Moto Z2 Force Edition has as much storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the Moto Z3 Play one, they have equal 64 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Moto Z3 Play shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same video frame rates and a camera with a 12 megapixels, the Moto Z3 Play also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures in low light environments and a bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a bit superior battery life than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 10% greater battery capacity.

Although Moto Z2 Force Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Motorola Moto Z3 Play. If you want to save some money, you can buy Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
