The Motorola razr (2020) has an overall score of 87, which is much better than Moto Z3 Play's 76.3 score. The Motorola razr (2020) is a noticeably newer cellphone than Moto Z3 Play, but it is thicker and somewhat heavier. Motorola razr (2020) counts with a bit superior processing unit than Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola razr (2020) also has more RAM.
The Motorola Moto Z3 Play features just a bit better looking display than Motorola razr (2020), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixel number per display inch and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2160px. Moto Z3 Play features more storage for games and applications than Motorola razr (2020), because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Motorola razr (2020) counts with a much better camera than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (4K) video resolution and a F1.7 diafragm aperture, the Motorola razr (2020) also has a much higher resolution camera in the back and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor.
The Motorola Moto Z3 Play features a bit superior battery duration than Motorola razr (2020), because it has a 3000mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.
Although Motorola razr (2020) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Moto Z3 Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto Z3 Play. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Motorola razr (2020), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Moto Z3 Play, giving up some specifications.
