Galaxy A42 is much better than the Moto Z3 Play, getting an 87 score against 76.3. Galaxy A42 is a notably newer device than Moto Z3 Play, although it's somewhat heavier and way thicker. Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much better screen pixels density and a much higher 1080 x 2160px resolution.
The Galaxy A42 features a bit bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy A42 features just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z3 Play. Both have a 4 GB RAM and 8 CPU cores.
The Galaxy A42 features a better camera than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking pictures or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video definition, the Galaxy A42 also counts with a camera with way more mega pixels.
