Galaxy J8 has an overall score of 76.7, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto Z3 Play's overall score of 76.3. Galaxy J8's construction is somewhat heavier and thicker than Motorola Moto Z3 Play. The Moto Z3 Play features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Moto Z3 Play also has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2160px and more pixels per inch of screen.

The Galaxy J8 has a bit better battery life than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
