The Xperia 1 is a little bit better than the Moto Z3 Play, with an 82.6 score against 76.3. The Xperia 1 is a newer device than Moto Z3 Play, but it is thicker and heavier. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a way higher pixels count per inch of display, a little bit bigger screen and a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution.

Moto Z3 Play features a slightly better storage for apps and games than Xperia 1, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
