Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than Moto Z3 Play's score of 76.3. Although it's the best in this comparison review, we must tell that it's also an older, somewhat thicker and heavier phone. The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much better looking display than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixels density and a much higher 2160 x 3840px resolution.
The Xperia XZ Premium features just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto Z3 Play. Both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores. Xperia XZ Premium features a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a back camera with way more mega-pixels and a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia XZ Premium has just a bit better battery life than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 3230mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
