Comparison review
Xperia XZs has an overall score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play's 76.3 general score. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Xperia XZs is an older, just a little bit heavier and thicker cellphone than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play. Sony Xperia XZs features a bit sharper screen than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better pixel density.
Xperia XZs features a bit more powerful CPU than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, although it has an inferior number of cores , they both have the same RAM amount. The Xperia XZs shoots way better photos and videos than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting photographs and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZs also counts with a back facing camera with way more mega pixels, a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality pictures and videos and higher video frame rates.
The Moto Z3 Play features much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB. Motorola Moto Z3 Play has just a bit better battery duration than Xperia XZs, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZs is a better device, it is more expensive than the Moto Z3 Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Moto Z3 Play. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Moto Z3 Play, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
