Moto Z3 is slightly better than the HTC U11, getting a overall score of 77.6 against 77.6. The Moto Z3 body is newer, a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than HTC U11. Moto Z3 and HTC U11 both have quite similar processing units, both of them have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. The HTC U11 has a little bit better looking screen than Moto Z3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher count of pixels per inch of screen and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution.
The HTC U11 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same video definition and a back camera with a 12 mega-pixels, the HTC U11 also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light images and video and a larger sensor.
Motorola Moto Z3 features a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than HTC U11, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Motorola Moto Z3 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. HTC U11's battery lifetime is just as good as Moto Z3's battery life.
Although Moto Z3 is a better device, it costs a bit more than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC U11. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get HTC U11, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
