Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is a little bit better than the Moto Z3, having a general score of 79.5 against 77.6. Both phones we compare here work with the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system, so both should offer very similar operating system features. Huawei Mate 20's design is somewhat thicker and heavier than the Moto Z3.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit more powerful processor than Moto Z3. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 20 has a slightly better display than Moto Z3, because although it has a just a bit lower display density, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels and a little bit bigger screen.
The Huawei Mate 20 has just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same resolution back camera and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a larger aperture to take better captures and videos in low-light environments and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor.
The Moto Z3 features a much bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 20 counts with longer battery life than Motorola Moto Z3, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto Z3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Moto Z3. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Moto Z3, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
