The Samsung Galaxy A40 is a little bit better than Motorola Moto Z3, with a 79.6 score against 77.6. Although the Samsung Galaxy A40 and the Motorola Moto Z3 were only released 8 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy A40 construction is lighter but also thicker. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A40 has older 11 version and Motorola Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Galaxy A40 counts with a slightly better looking display than Motorola Moto Z3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher screen density and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. Moto Z3 counts with a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Moto Z3 also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Moto Z3 features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A40. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 cpu cores. The Motorola Moto Z3 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy A40, because although it has a back facing camera with a much worse 12 mega-pixels resolution, a tinier back-facing camera sensor which gives a worse image and video quality and a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video quality.
Samsung Galaxy A40 features a bit longer battery life than Moto Z3, because it has a 3100mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
