Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Fold is much better than the Motorola Moto Z3, getting a 97.6 score against 77.6. The Samsung Galaxy Fold body has the same thickness than the Motorola Moto Z3, but it is heavier. Both phones in this comparison review include the same Android 9.0 Pie OS. The Moto Z3 features a little sharper display than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixel density.

Galaxy Fold features a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto Z3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy Fold features a little bit better performance than Moto Z3, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy Fold also has a higher amount of RAM.

Galaxy Fold features a slightly better camera than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a same resolution camera, the Galaxy Fold also has a larger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures, a much bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light environments and higher video frame rates.

Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a much better battery life than Moto Z3, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto Z3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto Z3, resigning a couple specs and features.
