Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is better than Moto Z3's 77.6 global score. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has older 5.0 version and Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's construction is lighter than the Moto Z3, although it's a little thicker and was released 3 years before.

Galaxy S6 Edge features just a little better processing power than Moto Z3, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processor and an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better screen than Moto Z3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440.

Moto Z3 features a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for taking photographs in low-light situations, a lot lower 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera, a tinier sensor taking worse quality videos and photos and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

The Moto Z3 features a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Moto Z3 has just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 15 percent larger battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Moto Z3, resigning some specifications.
