Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is slightly better than the Moto Z3, getting a global score of 81.9 against 77.6. Although it's the best we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is an older, way thicker and noticeably heavier device than Moto Z3. The Galaxy S8 Active has a little more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px.
The Moto Z3 features a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Moto Z3 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Moto Z3 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S8 Active. Both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
The Galaxy S8 Active shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same resolution camera, the Galaxy S8 Active also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and a larger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
The Galaxy S8 Active counts with longer battery performance than Motorola Moto Z3, because it has a 33% larger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active not only is the best phones in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes it a no doubt choice.
