Galaxy XCover 5 is just a bit better than Moto Z3, having a global score of 78.1 against 77.6. Even though the Galaxy XCover 5 is much newer than Moto Z3, it is much thicker and a little heavier. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy XCover 5 has the older 11 version while Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Moto Z3 counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Motorola Moto Z3 has a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot better 1080 x 2160 resolution, a bit larger display and a higher display pixels density.
The Motorola Moto Z3 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a back camera with a much worse 12 mega pixels resolution and a smaller camera aperture which is worse for taking images and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
Motorola Moto Z3 has a greater storage to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto Z3 also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy XCover 5's battery life is very similar to Moto Z3's battery duration.
