Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is a little bit better than the Moto Z3, with a overall score of 78.6 against 77.6. Even being the best cellphone in this review, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is a heavier and much thicker cellphone than the Moto Z3. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has the previous 8.0 Oreo version and Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Xperia XA2 Plus has a little bit better looking display than Moto Z3. They have a display of the same size, exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a higher pixels number per screen inch. The Motorola Moto Z3 features a bit better processing power than Xperia XA2 Plus, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xperia XA2 Plus shoots clearer videos and photos than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same video resolution, the same diafragm aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a much larger back camera sensor which provides a lot higher image and video quality and a way more mega pixels camera.
The Moto Z3 counts with a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Moto Z3 also has an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia XA2 Plus features better battery duration than Motorola Moto Z3, because it has a 19% bigger battery capacity.
