Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a general score of 77.7, which is a little bit better than the Moto Z3's 77.6 global score. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has the previous 8.1 Oreo version while Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie. Although it's the best cellphone we are comparing, Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's design is a bit thicker and just a bit heavier than Moto Z3.
The Moto Z3 has a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Motorola Moto Z3 and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite have quite similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a just a little lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2280 resolution and a little larger screen.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with a slightly better camera than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a 12 mega pixels camera in the back and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better captures in low light situations and a larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality.
The Motorola Moto Z3 features a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with just a bit longer battery life than Moto Z3, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity.
